Any limitations we have are self imposed limitations. Most of our self imposed limitations are mental. They are a product of years of us allowing ourselves to view specific things as certainties. What we don’t realize (myself included) is that making allowances becomes broad general and inclusive. We either allow ourselves to be limited, or we don’t allow ourselves to make excuses.
Our coaches are here to help you achieve your goals. We want you to live a long healthy life where you will be mobile as long as possible so you can experience as much life as possible. We care more about you picking up your grandchildren than you getting a PR. So if you get dinged up, hey it happens. If you tweak your shoulder, pinch a nerve, pull a muscle, break a bone, snap a tendon, if you are screwed shut, if you (______fill in the blank_______) then:
1-Take a second.
2- Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
3-Remember that you wouldn’t let your best friend tell you that you can’t do something.
4-Remember that our coaches can scale walking and breathing.
5-Grab your keys.
6-Get your ass in here.

I didnt think I was going to beat my last time. I was feeling a little ughish this morning. I was thinking I was going to be close to my last time. But when I yelled time I didnt know what time I got cuz I went outside to catch my breath and almost pukeed due to coughing. I asked jake what number I got, he said 2. looked up and saw 3:06. SWEET. Next time it will be a sub 3

Thanks guys for all the nice comments, I don’t feel so BA most of the time and I have to admit that after being told to stop using my left again I was more than deflated. I seriously started thinking that maybe my CF days needed to be over. Then last week my husband looked at me after I got home from a WOD and said “I know this is hard for you because you have put your heart and soul into CF and have had amazing results, you will get thru this and back to doing all of the lifting you love”, that was enough of a push to keep me going. I am sure everyone agrees that injuries suck BUT to me not Crossfitting sucks more! So for all of my fellow MOD SQUAD we can support each other, push each other and get thru our injuries together. I love CFOM and appreciate all of the great coaches we have that support us everyday!

Aaron kicked butt with 53# single arm kettle bell snatch today:) I managed to get 1 53# kettle bell snatch and man is it HEAVY, way to kill it Aaron! All of 9:30 rocked today. Thanks for the coaching Jake, I am still a little stressed over the jumping warm up:)
Angela! Between you and I we make a complete person!! haha I was doing #35 snatch one arm kb with my LEFT arm and yes same thing 2: something!! It sucks not to be at 100% but it sucks more to not be at the gym!!
6am chicas rocked it this am!!! I LOVE 6am girls! Made me laugh all the way through today!!! “…I must….I must…I must increase my bust” sunshine kept sayn hahaha!! Poor Jake…you tolerate us well!!! Court have fun in SF. As always, Gina and honeybadger….6am wouldn’t be the same without you!!
