6:00 am class was great! Awesome to see Leah, and Tammy so early.. Absolutly loved this hero wod! Felt strong on my deadlifts .. Pullups were unbroken the first couple rounds , then I kept slipping off the bar.. Ugh!
Thanks Jake for helping me with the last set of deadlifts . 155 gets heavy lol.. Great feeling to honor a fallen solider!! Love my CFO

“i suffer to honor their sacrifice” thanks jake for keepin your eye on me and the pointers on deadlifts. tried to keep up with court, definitely a good wod!

I did not give this Hero all that he deserves. My only saving grace was that I finished it when I didn’t want to. I will do this WOD again in an open gym!
Good thing was all 155# DL done unbroken, used a blue band for pullups and they were the hardest part of this WOD.
Thanks 8:30 ladies for the push. Thanks Jake for the love and reminding me that we never walk alone:)
Glad to support you my friend. Just doing a hero wod does give hommage to that hero. They are not easy by any means and very intimidating to boot. You did great girl. One step…..
Thanks Wendy:)

Wow, that was a long (but great) one! Did all 30 HSPU in the workout, was so stoked. Was struggling with my dead-lift technique some (thanks for the help Jake) so did 225# but had to do one at a time. Ring rows for pull-ups (shoulder- but it’s feeling a lot better) and combination of double-unders and tuck jumps. Man, tuck jumps are a killer.
9:30 folks rocked it!
Penny- Thanks for the technique work in Endurance. Definitely felt the difference between today’s 400′s and the other days.
Nice job today Scott, I really see your form improving, your commitment to endurance will pay off.
32:06 RX Man was I slow today, I was the last done. The pull-ups blew. HSPU’s were my rest, love those. Glad I did this workout, love to end the week with a Hero. The importance of these wods is never lost on me, I feel like even though it is a small token when compared to the loss of a life, at the very least it bares witness to the loss.
well said everyone. some gave all, but all can give some. POW-MIA you are not forgotten.

Holy shit balls. Pullups were the real weakness here. I did all HSPU, DL, and DUs unbroken. Minimimal minimal rest on the Pullups. I came off the bar and made sure I was back on it within three seconds, even if I only got one or two more. I almost puked after this one

First time doing this wod. Was shooting for under 22 minutes, and hoping for under 20, so I don’t really know what the hell happened, but I wish I could find it every time.
Took my time on the thrusters – all were set of 6,5, or 4
Pushed it on the rope climbs. love those things.
Always motivated to honor a hero…

I struggled thru the DUs. I could not find my rythem on those stupid things. I was getting so freaking frustrated, Jake could see it too. Towards the last 2 rds I was finaly able to string them all together. I want to do this one again and shot for a sub 20.
Stuck around for the endurance class, 4x400m run. Times were pretty good: 1:46, 1:44, 1:43, 1:41.

practiced pose and breathing. Halfway through I felt I had more energy and tried pushing it more the last round to see if I could keep my breathing in check at a faster pace. Still gotta work on that and the pose.
Nice to see you today Bean!
